November 02 Dog Halloween show in little ItalyLast week while edna and I walked our little girl pug "Gypsy" we encountered a dog fair in progress. Please enjoy the photos. June 19 Loss of a good friendSaturday June 2nd 2007, we lost a very good friend and neighbor that was very close to our hearts, Michele Moughmah. She and her husband Ed Brewer were on their way back from Rosarito mid day Saturday when a dog ran out in front of there car near Plaza del Mar while they were driving home on the Toll road. One of the last things she said before Ed lost control of the car was "Don't hit the dog!" Michele was a wonderful woman with a heart of gold who will be greatly missed in Bajamar. One of the great things that she had a hand in was the scholarship program for the children of the workers at Bajamar. Every year Michele would devote endless hours toward raising money for the children of the security guards, gardeners, housekeepers and others who work at Bajamar and are transported daily to Bajamar to work from the small towns of El Sauzal and San Miguel. Michele I know you are in heaven because that's where all angels go. Save a spot up there for the Bajapugs and us- Mark and Edna Max, Gypsy and Chico November 22 Max the Pug meets Nanook of the north!Hello all from Seattle!
Weve been here for the last two days and the rain hasn't stopped!
It's cold and wet as you can see.
I know what you are all thinking. Whats that Mexican- American Pug doin in the North land?
Well we ran into a bit of a problem at the airport with the Minute Man Pugs who think that Max and I are up here in the northland stealing jobs away from the full blooded American Pugs!
I can guarentee you that we have NO INTENTION of taking dog food, doggy treats, dog bones or squweeky toys back to mexico to feed and entertain the Mexican pugs! So Michael Savage, Rick Roberts, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'reily and any other conservative radio talk show hosts, Cool your jets!
See you guys back in Mexico this weekend!
Mark and Max October 14 Hello all from BajamarHello all its saturday morning here in peaceful Bajamar. At night the Coyotes sing you to sleep and in the mornng the birds, birds, (Max always repeats his words a habit I'm working to break him of.) wake you up.
So tranquil here in Bajamar. Life moves at a slower pace and you relish each passing moment. Try to take nothing for granted and love eachother.

Max Gypsy and Chico July 30 Baja Pugs and "RUTA DE VINO"Hello all: We just got back from the Santo Tomas winery in Ensenada Mexico. Very impressive place, great wines that are all grown in the region where we live. The name of the valley is the Guadalupe valley and there are several great wineries that come to mind. Our favorite is “La Cetto”. These wines are compable with any great wines throughout the world. If you’re driving from California you will want to take the Toll road that goes along the coast (great scenery). You will pay two tolls @ $2.36 each; driving about 100 Km’s from the border. Just outside of Ensenada (North) you will see an off ramp that says “Ruta de vino” (Translation: Route of wine) Take that off ramp and follow the road about 20 to 30 miles until you get to the La Cetto vineyards then it’s a right turn down a dusty road to the tasting room and bottling plant. It’s a great day trip from San Diego. They usually close around 4:00 PM with the last free tour, I think. I was commenting to Edna on our 28 kilometer ride home from Ensenada today that we are very fortunate to be able to live in this region throughout the year. I think it’s referred to as a Mediterranean climate. Upon getting home from the winery I took some updated photographs of our three daring pugs Max, Gypsy and Chico. I hope this weather changes soon it’s been extremely muggy going on two weeks now. Take care all. Mark , Edna and the three Musketeers

Now let me introduce you to my Pugs, Theres "Max" the eldest pug. We got him in January 2002. He was a fiesty little guy who was running around the house at first now hes mellowed with age. He's a great big teddy bear now!
Then there is our female, " Gypsy" Edna and I brought her into our lifes in the Summer of 2004. Her birthday is May 16, 2004. She is our "Alpha" pug! Some of her interest include- Chewing Bones and watching horses on TV.
Our latest edition is "Chico" ( Our little black pug) he is adorable and he loves to play. He's a high jumper and he has escaped from our back terrace in Bajamar on several ocasions. No worries he just sniffs around the exterior of the house and "Gypsy alerts us to his wrong doings. |
